Rise Bakery, a true Artisan Micro Bakery needs some dedicated and skilled craftspeople to make some of the finest breads possible, with a focus on quality over quantity, this should be a great opportunity to get involved and really enjoy baking as it should be.
The bakery is a new venture opening late April, a complete new fit out with all Bongard equipment will make it a very pleasurable environment to work in.
We are seeking 2 x Artisan Bakers with a strong background in Sourdough/long ferment bread making techniques. A background in Pastry production would be held in high regard, but is not essential. Your duties will be:
• managing the daily production and stock management routines
• manage quality control
• maintain the correct temperature controls
• customer service
• minimising damage and stock wastage
• stock rotation - first in, first out
• conduct regular stocktakes
• security awareness
• maintain food presentation
• working as a team
• with a knowledge of OH&S procedures
• general cleaning of work area and ensuring food hygiene procedures are followed.
To be considered you MUST have a strong background in Artisan bread making and Sourdough techniques, be professionally presented with good communication skills and your own car & licence to get to work. These are full time positions with good dollars for the right candidates.
