Baker and Pastry Chef for Artisan Bakery

We are seeking a baker with previous experience with sourdough bread to work in our small artisan bakery in North Fitzroy. The right candidate will be someone with a passion for baking, excellent attention to detail and a desire to produce a high quality products using excellent ingredients. The position requires that you are able to work both independently and as a part of a very good team. All of our breads are sourdough, you will need a good understanding of the sourdough baking process and a passion for making beautiful breads. Experience with hand shaping and all aspects of the baking process is required.

We are also seeking an experienced Pastry Chef with a passion for croissants. As with our bakers, we are looking for someone who loves food and baking, has excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to producing quality products.

Start times are between 3 and 5 am.
