You will need to be able to demonstrate:

• At least 5 years experience in a high volume Bakery environment such as hotels and conference facilities or large bake houses
• Sound knowledge of ingredient functions and recipe balance
• Passion for the industry is a must and continuous thirst for knowledge
• Ability to maintain high and consistent standards
• Effective leadership skills including the ability to train and mentor your team.
• Experience with ordering and stock rotation is highly desirable
• Demonstrated exceptional organizational, time management and delegation skills
• Flexible with working hours - your shifts may commence anytime between 12am to 5am
• Experience and knowledge of hand and machine moulding
• Experience in Viennoiserie (highly desirable)
• Hold a qualification in bakery (highly desirable)
